UK Council cuts down 6,000 trees to act as deterrent at 'dogging' site
Friends of the Earth, said: "To remove thousands and thousands of mature trees is absurd. The conifer trees in this area are very valuable in providing windbreaks and attracting rainfall to the area."
Chief Executive of the TaxPayers' Alliance, said: "It's awful that a public green space, an asset to the local community, has been destroyed mindlessly.
Lancashire Police's Darwen Neighbourhood Policing team said "It's far too early to tell if cutting the trees back has had any impact on the dogging situation, but we'll be paying regular attention to the area."
"Dogging" is a term often used to describe sexual congress, usually in public and of a nature regarded by many as perverted. In fact the usual common side effects are those such as syphilis, AIDS and other STDs. The dogging people will almost certainly just carry on elsewhere.
IMO: The English have by now killed many of the local animals, Shambo being a typical case, and are obviously have now had to look for plants as victims to satisfy their perverted lusts for murder.
