Easily made electromagnetic pulse bomb

Pulse bombs, for knocking out IC and transistor based electronics in the area, have generally been expensive and involved use of a nuclear bomb. New techniques using oldstyle equipment could make these items much cheaper, and multifarious uses could be obligated, resulting in, for example, the change of a political party without great expense or too many megadeaths, which annoy the international community.
