US (again) believed close to capturing Osama

THE United States is sending top-level CIA agents to Pakistan to pursue a new lead on the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden's hideout. CIA is rushing extra men and equipment into Pakistan today/yesterday.

Although never publicly acknowledged, Pakistan has permitted CIA teams to secretly operate inside Pakistan. CIA teams were working in northern Waziristan since last September, not that they seem to have done much good there.

Meanwhile, Libby clearly is seen by many to be taking a fall for the White House.

IMO: With the Valerie Plame matter by now currently of interest to the whole world, Cheney really must give the impression that the administration is doing more than covering for him and Bush.
