Gordon Brown's apparent involvement in Charity Scam (2)
There is a matter which puzzles me in this Labor fiasco. Others may know the reasons better than I.
Why, as mentioned in the Guardian newspaper on May 31st, an allegedly esteemed "paper of record", had the "the justice minister Harriet Harman borrowed £10,000 from a bank to stay in the race" (for deputy leadership).
If I were a politician I would not borrow money to reach some such political goal, though I might hope for donations, and I cannot think of any immediately publically beneficial motive to do so !
Harriet Harman's own blog leaves the first and perhaps justified impression of a decent and hardworking politican, but I think that a great deal of grey matter (and indeed white matter in the brain) is now needed to survive in politics. Perhaps she just hopes for an eventual job with "Lord Snooty" (aka David Cameron)
